Terms of service

These terms are between you and the operator of this service, who runs 10lines. Creating an account means you accept them.

The service

10lines lets you connect databases you own, write scripts that run against them, and reach them through an API and through assistants you connect. It is offered as it is, while it is still being built: features change, and some will go.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account and with the API keys and assistant connections you create.

Your data and your databases

What you put in, and the databases you connect, stay yours. You give the operator the right to store, process and transmit them only as far as running the service for you needs. You confirm that you may connect each database you add and give its credentials here, and that the scripts you run may do what they do with the data in it.

Back up your own databases. A script, an API key or an assistant acting on your instructions can change or delete rows, and the operator cannot undo that.

What is not allowed

  • breaking the law, or helping somebody else to;
  • reaching, or trying to reach, what is not yours: other projects, this server, its network, or anybody else's systems;
  • sending email nobody asked for, or using the service to attack, scan or overload anything;
  • running work that has nothing to do with your data, such as mining.

The operator may stop a script, a project or an account that does any of these, at once where waiting would cause harm.

Plans and limits

Each plan allows a number of events and box minutes a month, listed on the pricing page, counted for the account across every project it owns. Past them, new events are refused until the next month.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost data or profits, or for more than what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. The operator may end the service, or your access to it, with thirty days' notice by email, or at once for a breach of these terms.

Changes

Changes to these terms are announced by email before they take effect. Using the service after that means you accept them.
